Aluminum silicate is made from aluminum, oxygen and silicate that can take the form of a mineral as well as combine with water to make a clay. Aluminum Silicate is light weight and super white in color. It is having high degree of brightness, low plasticity, ease of dispersion. It improves electrical as well as mechanical properties. It can partially replace TiO2 to give cost reduction. It improves brightness of white pigments.It acts as a good anti-setting agent. Applications: Paints:As a partial replacement of TiO2 in latex paints & distempers. Paper:As a coating pigment in paper sizing and paper bonds. Misc. Application:As a filter in Leather boards. Surgical gloves. Re-in forcing filler in rubber footwear. Cable industry, insulation compounds. PVC and Plastic as a general filler. As a filler in Linoleum, flooring & foam products.
