Graphite and CARBON - Graphite rings with superior self lubricating properties and low wear. These are used in submersible pumps for lifting water from deep water bored wells. Pump parts in CARBON material with higher hardness will enhance abrasion resistance. CARBON rubbing components are widely used in high temperature applications where the presence of liquid lubricants is unaccepatance. Chemical inertness, temperature resistance, lightweight, dimensional stability, impermeability to gases and I iquids, and self-lubricating properties make mechanical grades suitable for some of the most demanding applications. These rings are mould to size or machined to close tolerances.

Our Mechanical Seals can be operated at temperatures ranging from 100ºC to 350ºC. For application in such high temperatures special material grades are used. The primary seal face is of high grade CARBON. The bellows are made from neoprene vition and rubbers. the stationery face is of ceramic, satellite, tungsten carbide or silicon carbide depending on the service condition.
