Widely used where water is available in abundance. Condensate is sent back to boiler. Enthalpy dropturbine work per unit pressure drop is much greater at the low pressure end of the turbine.

The evaporative condensers are most energy efficient condensers in comparision with s & t type or phe type condensers. 15 to 20% of the energy can be saved because of approx 75% power saving in condenser pump and 10 t 15% power saving in compressor motor by maintaining lower condensing temperature. we have solved the problems with evaporative condensers such as cleaning of tubes by providing enough space between tubes. The corrosion problem of tubes and casing is solved by providing ss tubes and ss or frp casing.
