SABA make "Y" type & Basket type strainers (Bolted Cover) have low pressure as higher flow area is provided through screen. SABA make Y" Type Strainers remove the foreign particles from the flowing liquids, Air, Steam, and Gases by means of perforated or wire mesh straining element. The strainer improves the clearance in the medium, and prolongs the life of valves, protect expensive pumps, instruments and other equipments.SABA make "Y" Type Strainers can be installed either in horizontal or vertical position. However, in both the cases, the screening element should be kept the “down side” of the strainer body so that the suspended particles can be properly collected. These strainers are available with drain plug which can be replaced with Ball Valve for frequent blow off.SABA make Strainers are available in wide variety of body material, pressure ranges and screen sizes for various suitable applications.Design Features : Design for more than 2.5 times Pipe Bore free Straining Area ensures a low Pressure Drop at even 50% clogged conditions allowing for a lesser down time for cleaning elements. For a higher efficiency specially designed Strainers are provided with a higher free straining area. Caged straining elements prevent crumbling of elements at even high flow velocities. Drain plugs provided in non corrosive material at the lowest points on the cover enables draining efficiency.
