Dolomite is a mineral which is known as Calcium Magnesium Carbonate and a chemical formula is CaMg(CO3)2. Dolomite is a very common mineral and it is saddle-shaped curved crystal aggregates. High level of whiteness and purity are the main reasons behind the popularity of Dolomite Powder. Natural Dolomite Powder is of White Colour and is used as Filler in many applications such as Soap & Detergent, Paints, Ceramics and many other Industries. Chemically & structurally it is similar to calcite with half the calcium ions replaced by magnesium. Moreover, Dolomite is harder and denser than the calcite form of calcium carbonate or limestone, and is more chemically inert and more impervious to acid attack. We supply with a broad range of particle size ranging from coarser to finer to ultra-fine sizes depending on nature of applications and customer requirements. Key Feature of Our Dolomite High Purity Free from impurities Excellent Whiteness Easy to wet Fire resistant Resistance to breakage Stiffness Applications Paints & Coatings Soap & Detergent Rubber Wire & Cables Cosmetics Pharmaceuticals Ceramics & Insulators Paper Agrochemicals

dolomite is an anhydrous carbonate mineral composed of calcium magnesium carbonate, ideally camg(co3)2. The word dolomite is also used to describe the sedimentary carbonate rock, which is composed predominantly of the mineral dolomite.propertiesthe mineral dolomite crystallizes in the trigonal - rhombohedral system. It forms white, tan, gray, or pink crystals. Dolomite is a double carbonate, having an alternating structural arrangement of calcium and magnesium ions. It does not rapidly dissolve or effervesce (fizz) in dilute hydrochloric acid as calcite does. Crys tal twinning is common.solid solution exists between dolomite, the iron-dominant ankerite and the manganese-dominant kutnohorite. Small amounts of iron in the structure give the crystals a yellow to brown tint. Manganese substitutes in the structure also up to about three percent mno. A high manganese content gives the crystals a rosy pink color. Lead zinc, and cobalt also substitute in the structure for magnesium. The mineral dolomite is closely related to huntite mg3ca(co3)4.because dolomite can be dissolved by slightly acidic water, areas of dolomite are important as aquifers and contribute to karst terrain formation uses of dolomite dolomite is used as an ornamental stone, a concrete aggregate, and a source of magnesium oxide, as well as in the pidgeon process for the production of magnesium.dolomite is also used as the substrate in marine (saltwater) aquariums to help buffer changes in ph of the water.in horticulture, dolomite and dolomitie limestone are added to soils and soil less potting mixes as a ph buffer and as a magnesium source.dolomite is used in the ceramic industry and in studio pottery as a glaze ingredient, contributing magnesium and calcium as glass melt fluxes.

We are offering dolomite. The dolomite mineral is commonly found in deposits of a sedimentary rock called dolostone, was named after the french mineralogist deodat de dolomieu. Basically, there are two types of materials referred to as dolomite: a true chemically uniform calcium magnesium carbonate with the chemical formula camg(co3)2, and a dolomitic limestone – an irregular mixture of calcium and magnesium carbonates. it is believed that dolomite was formed by replacement of some of the calcium in a calcium carbonate limestone deposit with magnesium while the sediment was undergoing lithification, being transformed from layers of dead clam and other sea animal shells into crystalized calcite or calcium carbonate. The resulting dolomite mineral, camg(co3)2 is a real double salt. Dolomite powder is available in different grades such as dl20 m and dl10 m. Further, we also provide dolomite 20 m and 10 m, which are extremely fine micronized minerals used in various purposes. the salient features of our natural dolomite:- •higher degree of purity, wet ability and whiteness. •our natural dolomite is popular for its shear and compressive strength. •fire resistive and solid. •long lasting life and stiffness is the strength of our mineral dolomite. •high specific gravity and high bulk density mineral with less reactive. in dolomite, the calcium and magnesium ions exist in separate layers in the crystal matrix, thus allowing several dolomite uses. •burntcalcined dolomite is used for refractory •dolomite is widely used in iron & steel industries due to its strength and compatibility in process of purifying iron & steel. •used as a substitute of lime for construction and building products •white dolomite powder as a filler for asphalt and concrete, paints, plastics, rubber, soaps and detergent applications •for adhesive formulation •dolomite is also used in some cement, pharmaceutical, fodder, glass and ceramic industry as a source of magnesium •as a sintering agent in iron ore pelletization or as a flux agents in steel making. •in agriculture, dolomite uses serves as ph control, while the chemical industry uses the mineral in making magnesium salts.

Uses:- dolomite as a mineral has very few uses. However, dolostone has an enormous number of uses because it occurs in deposits that are large enough to mine. The most common use for dolostone is in the construction industry. It is crushed and sized for use as a road base material, an aggregate in concrete and asphalt, railroad ballast, rip-rap or fill. It is also calcined in the production of cement and cut into blocks of specific size known as "dimension stone". Dolomite's reaction with acid also makes it useful. It is used for acid neutralization in the chemical industry, in stream restoration projects and as a soil conditioner. Dolomite is used as a source of magnesia (mgo), a feed additive for livestock, a sintering agent and flux in metal processing and as an ingredient in the production of glass, bricks and ceramics. Dolomite serves as the host rock for many lead, zinc and copper deposits. These deposits form when hot, acidic hydrothermal solutions move upward from depth through a fracture system that encounters a dolomitic rock unit. These solutions react with the dolomite which causes a drop in ph that triggers the precipitation of metals from solution. Dolomite also serves as an oil and gas reservoir rock. During the conversion of calcite to dolomite a volume reduction occurs. This can produce pore spaces in the rock that can be filled with oil or natural gas that migrate in as they are released from other rock units. This makes the dolomite a reservoir rock and a target of oil and gas drilling.

Dolomite is a carbonate of calcium and magnesium. It has fine crystalline structure with high brightness. Dolomite has extensive application in steel plant, ceramic tiles, plastics and paper. It has very good exterior durability and so it has good application in paints. Industrial Applications : Construction & Building : Due to the mineral increased hardness and density, while asphalt and concrete applications prefer dolomite as filler for its strength and hardness. Glass & Ceramics : Uses as a source of Magnesium. Large quantities of processed dolomite used in the production of Float glass. It also finds use in the manufacture of Mineral Wool. Steel Industry : Used as a sintering agent in iron ore palletization or as a flux agents in steel making. Agriculture : uses serve for pH control. Used as a Soil Conditioner. Paints : Used widely in cement paints, exterior paints, primers, putties, powder coatings and industrial finishes. Plastic : Used in PVC footwear, PVC pipes, cables and others. Paper : Used as integral filler in paper to give smoothness and gloss. Adhesives : Used in adhesives and carpet backing. Rubber : It is used in toothpaste, cosmetic and soap industry. Material Storage : Keep in closed container. Store in cool, dry & ventilated area. Keep away from strong acids. CO2 may be released on contact with strong acids. This material is non-hazardous and non-flammable. Safe Handling Recommendations : Utilize normal precautions for employee protection when handling chemical products. Use of standard PPE is recommended for employee comfort and safety. See Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) prior to use.Note : The information provided are based on test report and reference. The user should test sample before bulk trial. This is purely natural process minerals. So there is possibility of purity ± 5%.
