Functioning of Flush Bottom Ball valves:- Flush bottom ball valves are designed so as to completely seal off the outlet nozzle at the inner vessel wall. This prevents solids/liquid from accumulating and solidifying in the outlet nozzle neck and stopping discharge of the vessel contents. It also prevents the collection of un-reacted material in the nozzle. Flush bottom ball valve has special surface designed inlet flange, directly welding and flush mounted at the bottom of reactor, tank, vessel or container, smooth tapered hole and super short distance between the valve ball and bottom can prevent the medium accumulate at the entrance, ensure the medium smoothly discharge. Flush bottom valves ( bottom tank valves ) are being manufactured with size ranges 25 NB to 250 NB in austenitic stainless steel as well as alloy steels as per users’ requirements and with GMP finished. Y type designed fabricated flush bottom valves can be used where materials at bottom is chocked or clogged or suspended particles to be removed with external pressure from the bottom & receive direct flow at time. Advantages of using “Appex” Flush bottom valve : Specific angular cut bonnet bush allows all flowing media to pass through delivery line without any storage at bonnet. This design prevents unnecessary corrosion or wear inside body. Hard faced seat and plug give outstanding performance and make our valve very reliable when flowing media contain any hard particles.

When used to seal Bottom Discharge of a dust collector handling a relatively light dust load and operating at not more than 300 mm W.G. static pressure the light series Rotary Airlock will generally suffice. For a heavier dust loading and higher pressure or other materials handling and feeding applications a heavy duty gravity discharge feeder should be used.

NOTES: The sliding discs & seats tested for anti-seize Operation. Operation by Rack & Pinion gives full opening with half turn of the Box key.
