Salient Features Complete GMP model. Basic structure made from M.S. Heavy angles. Sterilizer inner walls made from AISI SS 316 and outer walls made from AISI SS 304. Doors provided on both sides, one opening is in non-sterile area and second opening in sterile area. A’ grade mineral wool insulation to optimize heat effectiveness and stop heat loses. Dynamically balanced fan provided for hot air circulation to achieve uniform temperature. Complete electric panel board with pulley and damper connection. Process Operation The Ampoules / Vials placed in trays are washed in non-sterile room and loaded on the trolley. The trolley is moved to the sterilizer on a transfer trolley. Temperature and Times are set on the Digital Controller. The Impeller mounted on the top circulates the hot air horizontally over the charge. The air is heated by elements mounted on the top. Fresh air enters the system through Hepa Filter Module. The system incorporates two doors, one opening into the sterile room and the other opening in the non-sterile room. Both the doors are pneumatically interlocked. The temperature profile during sterilization cycle is recorded on a circular chart recorder, validation of the system is provided by a six-point digital temperature scanner. After the time period required for sterilizing the batch has elapsed, the heating circuit shuts of the pneumatics damper (exhaust) opens and cooling operation commences.

The Sterilization Depyrogenation cycle is based on selection of cycle times and exposure of temperature that will sterilize or depyrogenate the glassware to an acceptable low probability level of contamination, without adversely affecting the critical parameters of the product. Generally Heat destroys micro organisms. The destruction process of microorganisms is a function of time and temperature. The rate of destruction is linear logarithmic, means in a given time interval and at a given temperature, the same percentage of the bacterial population will be destroyed. Hence forth introduce “Forced Conventional Dry Heat Sterilizer” (Sterilizing Tunnel).

The Sterilizing and Depyrogenation Tunnel is a machine used in various industries for the sterilization and depyrogenation of glass vials and ampoules. The Sterilizing tunnel is also known as the depyrogenating tunnel and it uses hot air for the sterilization of ampoules and vials. Sterilizing tunnel for vials is designed as a fully automatic system which uses dry heat with the forced convection of filtered air for depyrogenation of glass vials. The sterilizing tunnel for ampoules is equipped with a high efficiency particulate air filter to achieve sterilization of ampoules. Online sterilization tunnel is also known as the pharmaceutical sterilizing tunnel due to its wide use in the Pharmaceutical industry. The machine is provided with a 21CFR compliant data management system. Process of Operation The vials or ampoules are packed on a stainless steel belt which moves them through the preheating, heating and cooling zones. In every zone the ampoules are treated with HEPA filtered air to make them ready for filling. The differential pressures are controlled and monitored by the machine for proper operation of the tunnel. The sterilization and depyrogenation is based on the selection of cycle times and exposure to temperature.
