All gears & pinions running    on antifriction type ball / roller bearings in totally enclosed oil bath giving constant splash lubrication  twin drive arrangement will be provided for long travel motion which contains motors, gear boxes, brakes etc. Coupled together  the crane duty electric motors as per is 325 are suitable for frequent starting, reversing & braking. Motors are foot / flange mounted tefc / tesc, sq. Cage / slip     ring induction type for hoisting, c.t. And l.t. Motion  fail to safe electromagnetic / electro hydraulic thruster type brakes are provided for hoisting, c.t. & l.t. Motion  safety limit switches for stoppers are provided to prevent over hoisting and traveling  end stoppers are provided on either side of the bridge to limit the cross travel motion of the hoist/ crab  m.s.
