Magnetic humps are used where the flow of material is vertical. Hump magnets are mostly used to separate ferrous metals from granules, powder, food products and others. Hump Magnets generally consist of two Plate Magnets mounted in an offset housing and are installed in vertical spouts. The material falling strikes directly on the first magnet changes direction and falls over the second magnet, ensuring clean outflow material.

Hump Magnet is an in-line magnet for extracting ferrous metals from pneumatic conveyor systems. Each Hump Magnet contains two powerful magnetic plates positioned at right angles at each other. Hump Magnet attracts any ferrous particles that may pass through the material flow system, thus ensuring the material is free from any metal or ferrous contamination. Installation of these Hump Magnets has resulted in ensuring the purity of the material. Hump Magnets are widely preferred in cotton mill blow room section line.
