As there is no physical contact like Cams, etc. and no mechanical force required to operate the limit switches, the operation is very smooth and accurate.  The limit switches being totally sealed, the question of vermines and insects going in and jamming the contacts is not possible. The Limit Switches are set from the front with the screw driver arrangement so that setting procedure is very easy and Limit Switch can be accurately set as required. This is the most convenient position from the point of safety, operation of gate and accuracy. The Input Shaft of the Dial Indicator is connected to the extended Shaft of the End Reduction Gear with Flexible Coupling. The Dial Indicator is supported on a stand over the floating shaft on the bridge and connected to the Floating Shaft by Duplex Chain and Sprockets.
