We have designed a fully automated, simple and quick method of joining coupler to both end of pipe at same time by friction welding process. The machine is for 63mm, 75mm, 90mm, 110mm OD Pipes. In this method, the pipe is tied coupled and coupler on both side are being rotated at high RPM and are pushing on pipe by guided mechanical mechanism up to desired position automatically. The operation time for one pipe with both side joint is 15 to 20 sec. The Machine is automated such a way that it detects the pipe and decide how long to push coupler on pipe automatically. After the Start button push, It takes 6 to 8 seconds to joint coupler with pipe at both end as both side get start simultaneously. Once operator release pipe it get auto reverse to home position and pipe is auto throw from machine. This contains Screw and Barrel both are made from alloy steel duly nitrided and hardchrome plated for long life. Screw is fitted on a suitable heavy thrust housing with thrust and roller bearing to withstand thrust pressure during extrusion. Screw is driven by AC motor and coupled through  heavy helical gear box. Barrel is divided into three zones for heating load distribution  water circulating jacket is provided in feeding zone.    Die :   Die and adapter is made out from an alloy steel and hardchrome plated.    Cooling Tank :   This unit is fabricated from the SS sheet, the tank adjustable in height &  sliding up & down on guide rollers.    Catter Puller :   This unit is used to pull pipe and equipped with specially designed rubber pulling belts. Adjustable gap device is equipped to adjust the gap between two belts. DC motor of 2 HP capacity is coupled through a suitable reduction gear box to drive the belts.    Pipe Cutter :   Pipe cutter is equipped with 1 HP motor and pedestal with Limit switch and length adjuster are also provided with stand.    Control panel :   Control panel is comprises of of Microprocessor based digital temperature controllers to control the temperature on barrel and die DC motor is driven by Frequency inverter for long life. Suitable switch gears are provided to get the optimum performance of the machine. Control panel is comprises of Microprocessor based Digital Temperature controllers to control the temperature on barrel and die. All DC motors are driven by thyristorised DC drive to get the better speed control. Main AC motor get the optimum performance of the machine.
