The unfiltered liquid is fed into the filter under positive pressure, where liquid travels in downwards direction and finds its way through opening on sides of the Filter Plates. As the liquid pressure increases, the Filter media holds the foreign particles and allows only clear filtrate to pass through the central channel formed by interlocking pressure cups to the outlet. It is the heart of entire filter press system.Filter press pump is a centrifugal type with semi-open, nonclogging impeller pump with single row deep grooved heavy duty ball bearing with oil lubrication. It is the most suitable filter press pump for working under very high back pressure. Our filter press pump sludge from the bottom of the sludge holding tank into the filter press. It is mostly used in handling the slurry which is about the consistency of a material.

Filter Press Function   Filter Presses in principal are pressure filters in where a filters pack comprising of a series of plates and frames or chamber plates in compressed between one fixed and one movable bulk head on the other end. The filter media is placed between each individual element. A pair of filter plates when closed form a cavity internally covered on all both sides by the filtering medium. Slurry with uniform distribution of finely dispersed solids in liquid is introduced under pressure in this cavity. Liquid passes out and solids with remaining discharged through a closed pipe formed in the plates or is passed out into open channel through externally mounted cocks. Once the filter cake is fully pressed and filtrate trickles out, the cake can be washed to remove any impurities and the cake can be further dried. Thus solid-liquid separation of a slurry is achieved leaving a filter cake in the cavity are directed through specially devised nozzles fitted in the fixed end. Cake which has built in the hollow space between the plates will fall our once the pack is opened.

Designed to handle high-volume dust loads, a dust collector system consists of a blower, dust filter, a filter-cleaning system, and a dust receptacle or dust removal system. It is distinguished from air cleaners which use disposable filters to remove dust.   In reverse-pulse-jet Bag Houses, individual bags are supported by a metal cage (filter cage), which is fastened onto a cell plate at the top of the Bag Houses. Dirty gas enters from the bottom of the Bag Houses and flows from outside to inside the bags. The metal cage prevents collapse of the bag.   Bags are cleaned by a short burst of compressed air injected through a common manifold over a row of bags. The compressed air is accelerated by a venturi nozzle mounted at the Reverse-Jet Bag Houses top of the bag. Since the duration of the compressed-air burst is short (0.1s), it acts as a rapidly moving air bubble, traveling through the entire length of the bag and causing the bag surfaces to flex. This flexing of the bags breaks the dust cake, and the dislodged dust falls into a storage hopper below.   Reverse-pulse-jet Dust Collectors can be operated continuously and cleaned without interruption of flow because the burst of compressed air is very small compared with the total volume of dusty air through the collector. Because of this continuous-cleaning feature, reverse-jet dust collectors are usually not compartmentalized.   The short cleaning cycle of reverse-jet collectors reduces recirculation and redeposit of dust. These collectors provide more complete cleaning and reconditioning of bags than shaker or reverse-air cleaning methods. Also, the continuous-cleaning feature allows them to operate at higher air-to-cloth ratios, so the space requirements are lower.   This cleaning system works with the help of digital sequential timer attached to the fabric filter. This timer indicates the solenoid valve to inject the air to the blow pipe.
