Construction: Expanded Soft packing made from a special grade PTFE resin with one side adhesive strip. Application: This expanded soft packing fills all the voids in uneven or damaged surfaces thereby giving perfect sealing. It is chemically inert and can be used with almost all chemicals. One side of the packing has an adhesive strip hence it is very easy to install. It is widely used in place of gasket. These high density PTFE thread seal tapes are available in yellow, pink, and white colours having varius densities and widths as given below. Suitable for lines carrying propane, butane, natural gas, water, oil and chemicals, usable on all type of pipes & threads, and capable to withstand pressure upto 100 PSIG, and temp.of -240°C to +260°C.
