Pulverization is done by continuous impact of rotating hammers against liners. Raw material feed in rotary feeder from inlet hopper and spills into the grinding chamber. Strong hammering breaks lumps into small particles. At the same time air stream blowing through the pulverizer carries the ground material towards outlet. Whizzer classifier doesn’t allow oversize particles to pass and returned them into the grinding chamber. They are re-grind and reduced up-to acceptable size. Fan is working for convey particles passed from Whizzer and send it to cyclone collector. Three-way connection Cyclone & dust collector (fabric type) provides clear air to the mill and keeps entire operation free from dust too.

Infeed screw to pulverizer chamber controls the infeed material in grinding chamber. The screw stops at 85% full load of main motor. The screw starts when the motor load decreases to 75%, The serrated grinding discsserrated segments(Round serrated disc in 6 to 8 pcs.) are from high chrome material duly hardened. We recommend use of segments over the use dics. The advantage of using segments over the disc is that wobbling can be controlled within 0.3 mm in face.(In our model plvr 450). This results in more production & wear out of segments in 23mm so that it can be resharpened for three times.Water cooling is provided to fix serration plate & bearing housing.

Operations of dry & wet pulveriser The flow of material from the feeding hopper is regulating by means of side handle easily to suit the load. Rotor runs in anti-clockwise direction. The beaters pass just beneath the ratchet teeth liner fitted inside the top half of the crushing chamber, leaving a gap of 3 mm between the liner teeth and the tips of the rotating beaters. This cuts the material caught between the liner teeth like a sword with a scissors action at a 2880 R.P.M. After the required size reduction, the material will pass through the screen fitted inside the lower discharge end of the grinding chamber. No sieving is required, as the appropriate size screen fitted will not allow coarser material to pass through. The air generated in the crushing chamber forces the powder to pass through the screen fitted at the bottom discharge end of the crushing chamber, into a filter attached to the delivery trough below. (When crushing wet-pulpy materials, the balloon should not be use). Servicing guidelines of dry & wet grinding pulveriser Open the cover of chamber all grinding parts cleaned with a brush in couple of minute and the pulveriser is ready for next crushing. If required, the grinding chamber can also be wash with water. Remove the cotton balloon and the screen, close the cover tightly and start the grinder. Now pour a bucket or two of water into the hopper. The grinding parts will be flushed with the water and cleaned. Continue running the machine for a few more minutes as the draft of the fresh air sucked into the grinder will dry it. The beater when worm out removed and reserved by removing the cur clip lock holding to the rotor pins. When both the edges are worm out, they sharpened on an emery stone, to be use as new. In addition, when completely warn out, replaced the equal weight and refitted. Application of dry & wet pulveriser Dry & wet grinding pulveriser are exclusively meant for the grinding of chili, coriander, dry ginger, black pepper, turmeric and curry powders, on a large scale basis. These spices are ground in a two / three stage operation, depending on the fineness desired, i.e. the breaking of the turmeric in a large holes screen for the first operation, and the subsequent fine grinding done in a fine holes screen for the second and third operation.
