Side entry feeders are also used where fine products by this shearing action might cause damage to the system or create hazard. The inlet and outlet flanges are offset. Material entering from the side settles into the pocket of the rotor and particles do not get trapped between the blade and the housing. This type of feeders operates at fix speed and about 40% of the pocket capacity.

The material to be sifted is fed into the stationary cylindrical screen by means of a screw mounted on the rotating shaft. A series of paddles which rotate inside the screen without contact, centrifugally force the material against the screen breaking up soft agglomerates. Sub-sieve material (fines) that pass through the screen discharge into a collection hopper at the base of the machine. Oversize material and hard lumps (that cannot be broken by hand) traverse down the length of the screen to the overs outlet. An adjustable baffle plate at the end of the screen regulates the flow of overs. There are several varieties of Bag Filter A Dust Collector is a system used to enhance the quality of air released from industrial and commercial processes by collecting dust and other impurities from air or gas. Designed to handle high-volume dust loads, a dust collector system consists of a blower, dust filter, a filter-cleaning system, and a dust receptacle or dust removal system. It is distinguished from air cleaners which use disposable filters to remove dust. In reverse-pulse-jet Bag Houses, individual bags are supported by a metal cage (filter cage), which is fastened onto a cell plate at the top of the Bag Houses. Dirty gas enters from the bottom of the Bag Houses and flows from outside to inside the bags. The metal cage prevents collapse of the bag. Bags are cleaned by a short burst of compressed air injected through a common manifold over a row of bags. The compressed air is accelerated by a venturi nozzle mounted at the Reverse-Jet Bag Houses top of the bag. Since the duration of the compressed-air burst is short (0.1s), it acts as a rapidly moving air bubble, traveling through the entire length of the bag and causing the bag surfaces to flex. This flexing of the bags breaks the dust cake, and the dislodged dust falls into a storage hopper below. Reverse-pulse-jet Dust Collectors can be operated continuously and cleaned without interruption of flow because the burst of compressed air is very small compared with the total volume of dusty air through the collector. Because of this continuous-cleaning feature, reverse-jet dust collectors are usually not compartmentalized. The short cleaning cycle of reverse-jet collectors reduces recirculation and redeposit of dust. These collectors provide more complete cleaning and reconditioning of bags than shaker or reverse-air cleaning methods. Also, the continuous-cleaning feature allows them to operate at higher air-to-cloth ratios, so the space requirements are lower. This cleaning system works with the help of digital sequential timer attached to the fabric filter. This timer indicates the solenoid valve to inject the air to the blow pipe.

The RICON plug type diverter is applied in the chemical, pharmaceutical, plastic, food and other related industries. The RICON plug type diverter consists of an Aluminum housing and end covers in which a plug with two pipes is installed. All product contact surfaces are made from SS 304. Three approved silicone seals guarantee the sealing between housing and plug. The body is pressure tight, so ensuring no leakage to atmosphere. The standard diverter can be used in systems with positive pressures up to 3 bar g (static seals). The sizes 50-150 are optionally available for pressures up to 6 bar g (inflatable seals). The RICON Dual Tunnel Diverter Valve is supplied with a complete electro pneumatic control system, including solenoids and inductive position sensors. The standard diverter can be used for product temperatures ranging from –25 °C up to +80 °C at ambient temperatures of –10 °C up to +40 °C. Versions for higher temperatures are available on request.

Double Flap Valves, also known as Double Flap Valves or Double Flap Gates, are a type of airlock valve commonly used in industrial applications as a component in bulk material handling applications. Double Dump Valves are primarily used to discharge chunky, pellets, granules or fibrous, bulk materials from hoppers, bins, and cyclones operating under positive or negative pressure. Double dump valves are used to discharge a flow of material while at the same time serving as an airlock transition point to preserve the pressure differential above and below the valve. This type of material handling valve is ideal for use with bulky or abrasive materials that would tend to jam or damage a Rotary Feeder Double dump valves have two trap-door flap plates which open and close on an alternating cycle. The top gate opens to allow collected material to drop through onto the bottom gate. The top gate then re-closes to prevent air leakage above the valve. The bottom gate then opens to allow material to pass completely through the valve. The bottom gate then re-closes to prevent air leakage below the valve. This cycle is continuously repeated in order to maintain a steady discharge of material from the valve, while maintaining a positive seal on the system. Each flap plate has its own pneumatically operated cylinder and solenoid valve. The timing of the valve is controlled by an electronic signal sent to the solenoid valves. This method of operation is design to provide first class automation with sequential controller for accurate timing of the desire functioning of the valve.
