Drying Times Touch Dry Time - 20 minutes. Recoat Dry Time - 2 hours. Drying times refer to normal conditions (30°C, 50% humidity). Under cooler, humid or still conditions, longer drying times may be necessary. DO NOT USE IN TEMPERATURES BELOW 10°C OR ABOVE 45°C. Surface Preperation Previously Painted Surfaces : Scrape off loose and flaking paint and make sure the remainder is firmly attached. Sand glossy surfaces and enamels thoroughly and wipe clean. Remove all rust by abrasive blasting or mechanical sanding. Treat any remaining rust. Prime treated and bare areas with one coat SAFFRO Anti-Corrosive Metal Primer. In highly corrosive environments or within 2 kilometre of the sea, apply 2 coats of SAFFRO Anti- Corrosive Metal Primer. Tnt Bar,steel Bar and Iron Remove all grease, dirt and other surface contaminants.Remove all rust by abrasive blasting or mechanical sanding. Treat any remaining rust with. Description Two-component Air Drying acrylic aliphatic polyurethane finish coating. Recommended Use :- This product has excellent gloss, moderate colour retention and non-yellowing properties, against Ultraviolet rays and weathering, This product is recommended as topcoat with suitable primers and undercoats for use in moderate Chemical & Saline atmosphere for better aesthetics and corrosion resistance. It is recommended for Transportation Industries, Infrastructure Projects, locomotives, steel structure etc. is recommended as a self-priming coat for direct adhesion on variety of substrate like MS, Aluminum, Galvanized Iron and selected plastic surfaces. Surface Preparation This being a topcoat, which is applied over , primer or intermediate coats, the surface should be free from oil, moisture, dust and dirt. Aged epoxy / PU coating should be roughened by emery paper grade 400 / 600 for better bonding. Application Method Stir the Base part thoroughly. Mix the base and hardener as per our recommended ratio, by volume. Stir the mix gently to attain homogeneity. Add Thinner Type 290 into the mix, if required, depending on application method, and stir gently for few minutes. Allow the mixture to stand still (maturation) for about 10minutes to initiate the reaction. Strain the paint through Nylon filter cloth 400 mesh size and apply uniformly over the surface. All equipments used for above should be properly cleaned. Application :-By Conventional Spray / By Airless Spray Notes 1. Description Two-component Air Drying Acrylic Aliphatic, Non Yellowing polyurethane finish coating. Recommended Use :- This product has excellent weathering resistance additionally it offers excellent resistance to various industrial chemical fumes and splash. This product is recommended as topcoat with suitable primers and undercoats for use in High Chemical & Saline atmosphere for better aesthetics and corrosion resistance in Chemical, Fertilizers, Petrochemical, industrial plants and also for premium industrial equipments. Not recommended for immersion application. Surface Preparation This being a topcoat, which is applied over, primer or intermediate coats, the surface should be free from oil, moisture, dust and dirt. Aged epoxy / PU coating should be roughened by emery paper grade 400 / 600 for better bonding. Application Method Stir the Base part thoroughly. Mix the base and hardener as per our recommended ratio, by volume. Stir the mix thoroughly to attain homogeneity. Allow the mixture to stand still (maturation) for about 10-15 minutes to initiate the reaction. Add Thinner Type 290 into the mix, if required, depending on application method, and stir thoroughly for few minutes. Strain the paint through Nylon filter cloth of 400 mesh size and apply uniformly over the surface. All equipments used for above should be properly cleaned.
