The "Saumya" is specially used to condition the specimen for different test at 0°C or low temperature as specifications in different national & international standards.         APPLICATION :   Material property like physical, mechanical properties of plastics & electrical insulating materials are affected by temperature & humidity. Plastic materials tested above room temperature will yield respectively higher impact strength & modulus. In order to make reliable comparison of different materials & test results obtained by different laboratories, it is most important to condition the sample as per standards.     USP:   The "Saumya" conditioning chambers are designed & developed in such a way to obtain the set temperature / humidity within short time and it's with puf insulation and microprocessor based controller helps to maintain the set parameter with in +/- 1%.

These baths are made as per international standards to provide the heating & cooling media to the product.         Water Bath for Large Diameter Pipes   APPLICATION :   As per plastics are affected by the temperature, Hydrostatic Pressure tests for HDPE, R-PVC, C-PVC, U-PVC, MDPE and lateral pipes test specimens are suppose to be tested either at room temperature, at higher temperature or lower temperature in water bath as per national & international standards.         Water Bath For Conduit Oil Bath for Shrinkage Hot / Cold Bath for Pressure Test     "Saumya" baths are uniquely designed to heat faster with low energy cost and to maintain the temperature for longer time. To maintain the the temperature into the bath circulation is done by either one or two pumps as depending on the volume of bath. Temperature is controlled by microprocessor based controllers. In large size bath "Saumya" gives separate bath for heating & the hot water is circulated to the other chamber so as to save the energy cost.    

Plastic materials being heat sensitive in nature has a lot or bearing on its thermal environment for Its performance. Though their behavior in thermal conditions Is very complex. some simple yield tests are used to predict its behavior and performance in given conditions. This is one of such yield point very commonly employed with such demanding application.     USP:   The ” Saumya” HDT/VSP apparatus is controlled with precisely designed micro controller, which controls the temperature with specified rate or rise. Deflection or insertion of pin is measured with the help of dial gauge.   The “Saumya” Computerized HDT/VSP apparatus is supported by versatile window based software to control and visualize the process of lest on computer screen. Different tests can be recorded and compared on the screen.

The "Saumya" Two Roll Mill with fixed speed and friction is laid out for constant working conditions. The machine is available with roll diameters of 150 mm. (as per requirement). The rolls are driven by a geared AC Motor. The rear roll is driven by spur gears for a constant friction. Modifications for speed and friction are possible to meet individual requirements within certain steps.   The rolls are aligned in rigid frames. The rear roll is in a fixed position for good access to the rolls. The front roll can be moved with a hand shaft. The central adjustment ensures parallel movement. The working width is laid out for both plastics and rubber processing.   The drive system is equipped with a knee-actuated switch for emergency stop. Opening to the necessary safety distance can be done by hand however without turning of the rear roll.   The rolls are made of corrosion resistant steel and surface hardened. A central lubrication system combined with high-temperature resistant seal ring sallow low maintenance operation. The electrical heating energy is provided by cartridges. Heat distribution is controlled in three different zones to equalize difference over the roll.   The machine is equipped with a contractor control system. Roll temperature will be controlled with digital controllers. With the operating units mounted in an adjustable panel the machine can be operated from both sides.   Electric and drive system are incorporated in the machine frame with easy access for maintenance. The machine will be delivered with integrated controls and needs supply connections only.
