The diamond wire saw beads (dwsbs) find huge applications in the stone cutting industries. the properties of marblesstones vary from mine to mine. the performance of diamond wire saw beads, in terms of cutting productivity and the service life depend largely on its physical and mechanical properties. besides hardness, the wear resistance of bead is a major parameter that affects wire-sawing operation. as part of the research work, a simulated wear test rig was fabricated in order to provide rotational motion (30 rpm) to wire saw bead (wsb) and tangential motion (1500 rpm) to granite disc where in bead was allowed to slide on the counter face disc of granite material and thus wear performance of wire saw bead was investigated at applied load of 0.5kg. the wsbs were fabricated by varying chemical composition of electrolytic iron powder,

The prime aim of this presentation is to project a novel new way for municipal waste segregation in india where most of the waste separation at present are done by rag pickers who mainly separate all the waste including harmful hospital wastes and containers containing harmful heavy metals by hand thereby leading to adverse chronic health effects like tuberculosis, cancer and heavy metal poisoning which may lead to decreased standard of living, decreased longevity and also after effects to generation of children born to such affected parents.

cooking” is the application of heating to food ingredients. in this project, high frequency induction heater using electro magnet induction principle, meets the needs of cooking in large quantity. an induction cooking element (on gas stove would be called a burner) is a special kind of transformer. when a good-sized piece of magnetically conducting material e.g. cast iron frying pan is placed in the magnetic field, which is created by the working element. by controlling the intensity of the magnetic field, the amount of heat generated in the cooking vessel is controlled. the proposed system works at 27 khz frequency which is less than 49 khz maintaining to work in safe operating range. igbt and mosfet are the key component in this project, because it acts as power electronic switches. solar induction heater is a high frequency heater which is different from other methodology of cooking. here solar energy is used to provide power to heater

Solar agro sprayer (sap) is a typical innovative product developed for rural applications which utilizes the solar energy as a fuel. this product is being developed for spraying liquid particles and, pesticides provided with some additional accessories. behind the product, the main heart part is soar panel, which consists of 9 photovoltaic cells, each cell has the capacity of 1 w. this cell converts the light energy from the sun into electrical energy by means of electron hole movements. this solar panel is connected to the 12 v lead acid batteries for storing the electrical energy. a 12 v d.c.motor is connected to these lead acid batteries to convert the electrical energy into mechanical energy.

ndia is an agricultural country .agriculture is demographically the broadest economic sector and plays a significant role in the overall economy of india. for the growth of indian economy , mechanization is necessary. the main purpose of mechanization in agriculture is to improve the overall productivity and production. about 75% people are living in rural area and are still depends on agriculture. about 43% area is used for agricultural activity. the sowing machine are imported from foreign countries, the imported machines are not only bulk in size but also very costly. in this project an attempt has been made for the design and fabrication of maintenance free multipurpose sowing machine exclusively for small farmers at very low cost

Handloom weaving has been identified as a sustainable and remunerative livelihood option for visually challenged people if they are given proper training. a new product, 'handloom mats made from old saris' has been developed by a non-profit organization called 'gramin shramik pratishthan' situated in latur district of maharashtra. the process of making mats from old sarees begins with cutting sarees into small ribbons. this process is very tedious, time consuming and involves a lot of drudgery. there is also safety concern for the visually challenged people during the cutting process. a hand held electric cutting machine is available in the market for this purpose.

Fruits are important part of our healthy diet. all fruits contain carbohydrates, which are the body’s main source of energy. they are important sources of digestible and indigestible minerals, carbohydrates andvitamins.sapota (achrassapota) is a tropical fruit belonging to the sapotaceae family.the fruit is a good source of digestible sugar (12-18%) and good source of minerals, calcium and iron.it is one of the high calorie fruits; 100 g provides 83 calories (almost same as that of calories in sweet potato, and banana). additionally, it is a very good source of dietary fiber (5.6 g100g) removal of moisture from fruit is one of the safest way to preserve the fruits longer. drying is one of the oldest methods of preserving fruits. it removes the moisture from the food so that bacteria, yeasts and moulds cannot grow and spoil the food.

Nowadays, the uncontrollable increase in the prices of commodities has made it difficult for a person of lower income group. in fact even a middle class family to afford items of personal hygiene and care, especially for those living in rural areas. health problems in india and mainly in the rural areas are a great challenge. the health problems in females are serious because of improper facilities available in the rural areas and if available

The technology which i have invented is the disposal of sanitary napkins using cheap chemicals namely copper hydroxide commonly known as kocide and ammonium hydroxide (ammonia solution). the napkin dissolved solution collects in the septic tank, and thereby doesnot pave way to pollution of any sort. the problems related to conventional methods of flushing and burying such as pipe line blockages are also overcome in this new technology. this technology of disposal of sanitary napkins using cheap chemicals namely copper hydroxide [cu(oh)2] commonly known as kocide and ammonium hydroxide (ammonia solution-nh4oh).

At present when the fossil fuels are exhausting at a very rapid pace and the environment is being polluted day by day there producing green house effects and hence posing a danger to the mankind. also the fossil fuels are adding to the cost and making the present scene a worst picture to the future. hence the need of the hour is to apply some clean, cheap and easily available source of energy to power our day to day activities.

Sheet metal cutting comes under the category of metal working. metalworking is craft and practice of working with metals to create individual parts, assemblies, or large scale structures. the term covers a wide range of work from large ships, bridges and oil refineries to delicate jewelry. it therefore includes a correspondingly wide range of skills and the use of many different types of metalworking processes and their related tools. the sheet metal cutting process is a main part of the all industries. normally the sheet metal cutting machine is manually hand operated one for medium and small scale industries. automation in the modern world is inevitable. any automatic machine aimed at the economical use of man, machine, and material worth the most. in our project is solenoid valve and control timing unit is used for automation. the sheet metal cutting machine works with the help of pneumatic double acting cylinder. the piston is connected to the moving cutting tool. it is used to cut the small size of the sheet metal. the machine is portable in size, so easy transportable automation can be achieved through computers, hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, etc., of these sources, pneumatics form an attractive medium for low cost automation. the main advantages of all pneumatic systems are economy and simplicity. automation plays an important role in mass production.

The present invention relates to an integrated puffed rice (muri) making machine with improved productivity. this machine for producing puffed rice(muri) according to the present invention is motor driven wherein stirring action during preheating of salt conditioned parboiled rice in ‘kadahi’ and subsequently puffing the same by pouring small batches in sand heated in revolving ‘handi’ , both receiving rotary motion from the motor through line shaft and belt-pulley mechanisms in a simple, user friendly and reliable manner.

In the global arena, jasmine makes international flower markets look at madurai for meeting the demand overseas. with strong roots adding to its advantage, the madurai malli is all set to get geographical indication tag, which will position itself as pride of south spreading fragrance beyond boundaries. production of jasmine flowers which are exported as garlands to malaysia, singapore, canada, america, dubai and a couple of european countries. the flowers are worn by women in their hair especially jasmine mostly in southern and southeast asia. moreover, this flower is used in the religious offerings and wedding ceremonies too. there is a growing demand for value added products like flower crowns, garlands from indians in the middle east and other countries. hence, the usage of flowers all over the world is unlimited. making crowns, garlands and winded flowers by using jasmine is a tedious process. on the other hand it is being affected the farmers who are producing jasmine and the flower winders. they feel that winding the flowers manually take too much of time and also boring. thus the human society based on this field is being suffered a lot. in order to improve their lifestyle, a novel flower winding machine is designed. it consists of flower tank, flower assembly belt, flower clamping belt, knot mechanism, cam and vibration system. the tank is used to store the flowers. at the bottom of the tank flower shape holes are provided. the hole exists upto the conveyor belt. the flowers way out from the tank fell down to the conveyor. at the end of the conveyor belt two more belts are constructed in the opposite direction for the proper clamping of flowers. finally the knot mechanism is introduced to make a knot. in this way, winded flowers are extracted from this machine. this innovative idea may help to lift their lifestyle who is involved in this field.

This is a hydro-operated machine which performs four tasks simultaneously:- 1. make square bottom paper bag 2. make jute bag 3. generate electricity 4. filter water the machine also places a base-supporting card in the bag after producing it. the machine is fully automatic and eco-friendly. it can be easily connected to an electricity supply by attaching a 2 hp motor.

Sharad Parekh from University college of engineering & Technology, Ahmedabad developed a Straut AERO: Solar industrial hot-air generator with the help of his guide Dr Nilesh Bhatt. The hot air is a preferred choice of the industry as a source of process heat fluid when compared with other sources like thermal fluid or water. The industries currently use natural gas, coal or biomass as a fuel to heat air. A typical small industry consumes about 20-30 one million British Thermal Units (MMBTU) per day for hot air. However, the increasing cost of fossil fuels and emissions are a continuous concern.
