Demineralization or deionization of water is the removal of essentially all inorganic salts by ion exchange. In this process, strong acid cation resin in the hydrogen form converts dissolved salts into their corresponding acids, and strong base anion resin in the hydroxide form removes these acids. Demineralization produces water similar in quality to distillation at a lower cost for most fresh waters. The process of demineralization by ion exchange process removes all the unwanted inorganic salts like calcium, magnesium, sodium, chloride, sulphates, nitrates, silica etc. It is possible to achieve conductivity below 1 microseimenns/cm2 of treated water and silica below 20 ppb with proper scientific design depending on raw water quality and limitations of ion exchange resin kinetics

The Reverse Osmosis Plant manufactured by us carries out the reverse osmosis process which is done for the removal of practically all inorganic salts by membrane technology. In this process, water is passed through cellulose acetate/poly amide semi permeable membranes at pressure above Osmotic pressure. Due to high pressure the salt and pure water separates through semi periable membranes. The process of demineralization by ion exchange has the limitation when TDS of raw water is above 1500 ppm, or it is not a viable process for brackish water and salty water contains higher dissolved salts. To overcome such difficulty reverse osmosis technique is used removes all the unwanted inorganic salts like calcium, magnesium, sodium, chloride, sulphates, nitrates, silica etc. From the water having high TDS, the process is most economical. It is possible to achieve conductivity below 1 microseimenns/cm2 of treated water and silica below 20 ppb when RO+DM with proper scientific design depending on raw water quality.

Mixed Bed Unit is designed to produce high purity treated water required by power plant, electronic industries, pharmaceuticals etc.A mixed bed polishing unit contains strong acid Cation (SAC) resin and strong base Anion (SBA) resins combined to a ratio of approximately 40% Cation resin to 60% Anion resin. (All resin volumes are dependant upon the incoming water analysis and the required quantity of treated water). Mixed bed polishers are typically installed when a water quality of less than 1 micro ohm conductivity is required.This process differs essentially from the separate bed system in that the two strong resins, the Cation and the Anion, are joined in a single vessel. The two resins are intimately mixed by agitation with compresses air. The grains of resin are thus arranged side by side, and the whole bed behaves like an infinite number of Anion and Cation exchangers in series. The Effluent Water Treatment Plants manufactured and supplied by us are designed to treat the effluent coming from different areas of the plant. The treatment of different effluents varies with the type of effluent. Our Effluent Wastewater Treatment Plants are used for treatment of water, waste water and liquid having suspended and colloidal particles. The Effluent Water treatment plants supplied by us works on the principle of settling under gravity through inclined plates within large projected surface area. The system is envisaged for treatment of effluent mainly containing turbidity and suspended solids. Service water washing effluent from different areas is collected in common collection pit to the flash mixer where chemical mixing takes place. The effluent is dosed with Alum, Lime and Polyelectrolyte to coagulate and flocculate the suspended / colloidal matter. Water then flows through the flocculation tank for flocculation and is finally carried over to tube/lamella settler through gravity where clarification of water takes place. Clarified water is then led to common monitoring basin through gravity. Sludge generated in the process shall be collected and pumped for further treatment.
