We are offering indefinite chilled rolls. These are cast iron based rolls alloyed with nickel, chromium and molybdenum having a matrix of pearlite and carbide with flake graphite.these rolls are used primarily for section rolling. The material has superior thermal properties and imparts better surface finish to the product. These rolls are available in higher hardness ranges where the matrix is bainitic instead of pearlite and are used in finishing stands of rod mill.

The forging process help in cohesiveness and strength by elongation of the grain structure, which results in material having much higher load bearing capacities as compare to casted material. Heat treatment is done in normalizing annealing furnace and forgings are ultrasonically tested there after. We have the capacity to forge a single piece up to 7000 kg. In plain carbon steel such as m.s., en-8, en-9 & en-42. These forged rolls are basically used for rolling purpose in industries where grinders, channels, angles are manufactured. These rolls are used in roughing stands of rolling mill.

Chilled iron rams (piston) are chilled casted to get 100% scratch proof surface for longer life of hydraulic seals. The surface of the rams is hard enough to withstand almost every climate and yet smooth on seals for long life. Chilled rams are free from all defects like sand fusion, blow holes, piping & cracks etc. We are manufactured chilled rams are having protected centers & having up to 0.01 micron finish. These rams are capable to bear external specific pressures. The hard and grinding mirror polished surface maintains the high hydraulic oil pressure together with the circumstantial seals. The shell material consisting of predominantly bainitic or martensitic matrix with free carbides with small quantities of tiny flake graphite, have excellent wear resistance coupled with resistance to fire cracking. These rolls are available in hardness range of 70 to 85 shore c.the core material of these rolls is mostly grey iron but where higher strength is required, the core is made of ductile nodular cast iron.
