Ripple tank illustrates important wave motions like rectilinear and circular. It can also demonstrate refraction, diffraction and interference of water waves. Tank is supported by four legs having leveling screws. The apparatus consists of a framed tray with a plexi glass base and detachable legs. A pair of support rods with clamps is provided which can be attached to the sides of the tank and used to carry the wave generating system. A set of 4 metal barriers (reflectors) is included consisting of a pair of straight barriers 150x25mm, a curved barrier of 215mm chord length x 25mm high and a short, straight barrier of 25x25mm.
