A set of 4 square section solenoids, two having a cross sectional area of 4000 mm2 and length of winding 295 mm. Turns per unit length ratio is kept 1:2 by close wounding, one by 380 turns anc' other is open wound by half i.e. 190 turns. The other two coi have a cross sectional area of 2000mm. The number of turns usei in each case is same as for larger coils, solenoids 325 mm (overa length), large coil 325 x 64 x 74 mm, small coils 325 x 45 x 55 mm.
