Over Band Electromagnetic Separator is widely used for an automatic removal of ferrous particles from the products that are carried by vibratory feeders, belt, or inclined planes and purify the end products. As the suspension magnet on a conveyor belt flows under the powerful magnetic field, ferrous material is pulled out of the product flow and held to the face of the magnet. The screened material flows from Vibrating Screen that is the mixture of slag & metal contents goes to Magnetic Separator. Magnetic Separator is most useful for non electric separating for separating iron from non magnetic product in bulk quantity for purity of end product, Metal having commercial value. As the material feed from Vibrating Screen to Magnetic Separator, the powerful Magnetic field attracts & hold Iron particles from the revolving shell & slag contents falls freely from the shell, while iron particles are automatically discharged at the other end.

Electromagnetic separators are designed to successfully remove damaging tramp metal from flow of coal, limestone, sand, gravel, wood products, recycled materials and almost any conveyed non-ferrous material. As the electro suspension magnets on a cross conveyor belt flows under the powerful magnetic field, ferrous material is pulled out of the product flow and held to the face of the magnet. With self- cleaning models, continuous cleaning is made possible by a heavy duty cross conveyor belt that encircles the magnet on a series of rotating pulleys. As ferrous metal is attracted and held by the suspension magnet, the moving belt carries the collected metal outside of the magnetic field where it is then released beyond the product flow.
