PEL manufactures microprocessor based digital weigh feeders as per design of HASLER International-France, incorporating their state-of-the-art technology for continuous control and proportioning application in cement, steel, fertilizer, chemicals, petrochemical and other industries. Principle of operation: PEL Gravimetric weigh feeder is a variable speed small conveyor incorporating belt weighing and speed control system. The flow rate is held constant by varying the speed inversely with respect to belt load. Set point controller ( a built in feature in all Hasler controller ) allows setting of required rate and provides a signal to raise or lower the speed of the belt. For additional controls and communication facility, required signals are available from the weigh feeder control panel to connect it to a PLC or a supervisory computer either direct or using MODBUS PROFIBUS etc. making it a part of distributed digital control system. Measurement of flow rate and control are all through 32 bit microprocessor based digital techniques ensuring high reliability and accuracy to the level of 0.25% which is not known in the industry presently. For materials having sluggish flow characteristic mass flow bins, vibrators, screw feeders, rotary air lock feeders are provided to allow the material to lend themselves to control.

Tippler is used for emptying the loaded wagons by tipping it. Tippler retains wagon from top as well as from side by using clamping devices provided on it. Apart from that track stops, wheel grippers and different type of limit switches are provided as features of wagon tippler. Tippler is driven by either Hydraulic drive or by electro-mechanical drive OR Hydro Mechinical Drive . Placement of wagon, on tippler platform, is accomplished by wagon marshalling equipment like Side Arm Charger or Bettle Charger or Pussher Car deppending on Type of Wagon Tippler application. To solve the ever increasing problem with handling of bags in process plants, PEL has join hands with Ms. BOUBIELA of France to manufacture Wagon and Truck Loaders. Boubiela have got to their credit, thousands of satisfied customers all over the world manufacturingdealing in FertilizerSugarChemicalsCattle Feed PlantsFood Corporations etc. Different models of truck loaders up to a maximum capacity of handling 3000 bags per hour each of 50 Kgs. can be supplied for loading, stacking and lining up bags onto trucks. Wagon Loaders in different models upto 3000 bags per hour are also available. The loading jib is telescopic with 180° rotation and can be lifted by a mechanical or hydraulic jack. Simultaneous loading of number of trucks as well as wagons on parallel track can be achieved with PEL-BOUBIELA make Wagon and Truck Loaders.

Roller Mils are directly driven bevel-wheel planetary gears or bevel cylindrical gear units. The gear unit represents an almost integral component of the mill. The output flange of the gear unit is rigidly connected with the grinding table. In addition to transmitting the torque ,the gear unit also has capability to take up the reaction forces from the the griding force of the mil’s rollers. Hydro dynamically or hydrostatically lubricated thrust bearing being mounted in the upper housing parts of the gear unit absorb the grinding force which is then transferred though the housing into mill’s foundation . This growing number of roller mills in operation as well as the increasing specific need and demand of gear transmission feature .

The gearboxes are embedded with excellence high dissipation and oil lubrication system to provide stable output under heavy loading force. The axial thrust is supported by axial roller-type swivel thrust bearing coupled with thrust bearing assembled in tandem way.

Twin Boom Stacker is suitable for handling limestones, iron ore, dolomite, coal, etc. 1.Two booms with luffing arrangement can make the pile on both side of the track and can form ‘Chevron’ and ‘Cone shell’ type of pile. 2.This machine is used where blending of material is required. 3.We have been commissioned the machine with Capacities up to 2000 TPH and Boom length up to 29 M.

Steel tubes having diameter 20 to 50 mm sizes are drawn by cold drawing process and process from steel stripes passes through each gear unit output double shafts on which different formation of shape dies are mounted on both output shaft and between dies, steel stripes passes results to form a steel tube of specific diameter. These type of Gear units are installed in series. The first gear box is having three input in which the first input is connected to electric motor. Second input is connected to the input of next gear box and the third input is connected to generator so that in case of the power failure the process of drawing the tube will continue in operation. The other gear units in the series is having input shaft double extended. These type of gears are specially developed for one.

For the distance between shaft ends exceeding beyond N4 limit, Elecon make ET type of geared couplings are used to connect the driving and driven equipment. This type is provided with appropriate torsion shaft to accommodate required distance between shaft ends.

Stacker Reclaimer is for stacking and wheel on boom reclaimer for handling bulk... For continuous stacking an reclaiming of crushed bulk materials, economics solutions can only be achieved by the use of combined bucket wheel stacker reclaimer. Elecon bucket wheel stacker reclaimermachine can stack the material to form the stockpile or reclaim the stockpiled material and feed onto themain line conveyor. Elecon has started producing Spiral Bevel Gears in 1976. Since then, Elecon using these specially designed, spiral-toothed gears in all Right Angle drive Bevel Helical Gearboxes and also supplying loose Spiral Bevel Pair to various users as per specific requirement.

For the growing need of steel roling mills, Elecon has developed custom-made gearboxes to obtain variable speed of rolling mill to suit client’s requirements. Such special-purpose gearboxes have been supplied to Precision Equipments, Flat Products and to ultimate users such as Comet Steels, Sipta Steels, Nanded, and Him Ispat, Himachal Pradesh.

ELECON has successfully designed, manufactured and supplied gearboxes for palm oil industry. This gearboxes are foot mounted, three stage, parallel shaft, helical gear reducer with solid input and out put shaft. The gear box body is out of C.I. and the top gear case has been specially designed to mount electrical motor directly on it. The gear reducer has been fitted with specially designed heavy duty breather plug considering dusty environment.

Elecon slewing gear units of planetary as well as bevel-helical type (conventional) are available in various sizes ranging from 1.5 kW and reduction ratio ranging from 400 to 1000. These gear units are especially designed for the slewing mechanism of the stacker-reclaimer machines. The planetary gear units normally have four-stage reductions out of which the first stage is designed as helical or bevel pair, and the remaining stages according to planetary gear systems. The conventional gear unit consists of five to six reduction stages comprising bevel and helical gear pairs. The sun and planet gears are case-hardened and ground to quality 6 as per DIN 396163. The annulus is made up of high tensile alloy steel, heat treated or nitrated depending upon power requirement. The spiral bevel gears in case of conventional gear units are case-hardened and lapped in pair so as to ensure optimum tooth contact pattern during assembly. The casing is of welded construction mainly in three parts in case of planetary gear unit and in two parts in case of conventional gear unit. The bearing bores are machined with high degree of accuracy on CNC machines.

Side arm charger, widely used with Wagon Tippler as Wagon Marshalling equipment, helps in increasing the tippling speed of Wagon Tippler by Fast Placement and removal of Wagons from tippler table.

A Ship loader is used for loading bulk materials like clinker, Cement, iron ore, coal, fertilizers, etc. into ships for transportation by sea. Ship loaders are commonly used where bulk materials are exported from ports. ELELCON has supplied ship loader with capacity upto 1200 TPH

Shiftable conveyors, used at open-caste mines. Capable of handling materials at the rate of ranging from 6000 TPH to 20,000 TPH and is suitable for belt widths upto 2,400 mm. and up to 4.2 MSec belt speed .

“Variable Speed” means the change of the speed of a driven machine in running condition. The ELECON Variable Fill Scoop Fluid Coupling is therefore located between a constant speed motor and driven machine.

Pusher Car, also known as miniature locomotive, pushes wagon in or out of tippler. It consists of Drive Unit and body. After leading wagon is decoupled manually from the rake, remaining wagons are pulled back by the pusher car at predetermined wagon waiting position. Meanwhile, the tippler tips the loaded wagon and come back to the original position with empty wagon. Now, pusher car pushes the rake of remaining wagon to the tippler table, pushing out empty wagon. Thus, the cycle goes on till all wagons are tipped.

A pipe conveyor is a rubberized belt which is formed from a conventional troughed shape into a pipe, or tubular shape. The piercing mill is used to pierce out and roll the mother tube out of original billet. The single input, double output, two-stage gearbox drives this mill. This is a three metre tall and robust gearbox with a base of 2.81.4 meters and weighing around 18 tons. Technical specifications : Input power : 1250 kW @ 750 rpm, A.C.motor Reduction ratio : 5.6875:1 Axial thrust : 1,80,000 N on each output shaft The gears are made from high tensile carburizing alloy steel, 17 CrNiMo6 as per DIN 17210, case hardened to 60± 2HRc and finely ground to accuracy Class 6 as per the DIN standard to give smooth and trouble free operation. Output shafts are made from medium carbon steel CK 60N as per DIN 17200 of adequate size to withstand heavy load transmission for better rigidity without undue deflection. Gears are integral with shaftkey fitted to shaft and are supported in antifriction spherical roller bearings of adequate size to give higher working life and to correct misalignment. Output shafts are also provided with spherical thrust bearings to tolerate axial thrust load in both the directions. Gears and bearings are housed in accurately machined and highly rigidrobust MS fabricated housing to give better performance

Rotary plow feeders are most useful for handling materials that are sluggish, tend to interlock or mat and thereby arch over restricted openings. They are usually mounted under the bottom of bins and hoppers and are specially designed to prevent bridging or arching of material. A rotating set of plows push material toward a discharge opening .In recent times Paddle Feeders have been very successfully used in Coal Handling Plants and other installations for extraction of loose materials from stockpiles, Silos and Bottom Discharge Wagon Systems.
