Hub connections are used on Offshore and sub sea pipelines, where weight is a major design criteria. Hub End Valves being lighter, saves weights – saves money, as compared to ANSI Flanged End Valves. Hub Clamp are generally selected by the customer being proprietary design of Techlok, Grayloc and Vector Hub Clamp, Flovel will design and end connection suitably. Clamp connections uses 4 bolts hence quick connection and installation as compared to ANSI Flanged End valves. Clamp connection ensures proper clamping force resulting in no leakage during bending and vibrations which generally occurs in long pipelines. Seal Ring profile is precisely machined using CNC machines and special inserts.
