Shri prabhusugar is known for its high quality, hygiene and good taste sugar, which is categorized in three different categories based on crystal size: small, medium and large.

Bagasse is the residue obtained from crushing cane in the mills. It contains 50% moisture & 2% sugar & the balance is fibre. Bagasse is used as a raw material by the paper industry. It is also very commonly used as fuel in boilers in the sugar factory for co-generation of power.

Filter Cake commonly known as Press mud is the suspended impurities separated during the process of cane juice clarification by the sulphitation process. The material is used as a manure and the factory manages to sell the filter cake to the cane growers at concessional rates & achieves recycling of the matter back to fields.

It is a highly viscous left-over material containing sugar reducing sugar and organicinorganic impurities. It is a raw material for distilleries of our organization.

Fly Ash is the residual output from the boiler furnace after bagasse has completely burnt out. This fly ash is used as a substitute for firewood. It is rich in potassium and is also used by local farmers for cultivation.
