Adamya Chetana is a voluntary organization working in the field of social development set up in 1997. It has been set up in the memory of Smt. Girija Shastry who dedicated her life to serving the poor and the underprivileged. Adamya Chetana has touched the lives of thousands through its various projects like "Annapurna" under which we provide food to 72,000 students in the Bangalore city daily, " Arogya Chetana" under which we provide " medical services to the under privileged section of the society, We have adopted two villages in Karnataka Namely " Sankonatti" & "Ramteerth" where we had installed Gobar gas plants in every house so that the animal Waste can be used effectively to generate "Cooking gas" & hence will result in less De-forestation.
