Unpolished Brown Rice or “Hand pound natural rice” . Unpolished Brown Rice has a higher content of proteins, lipids, dietary fibre, vitamins and minerals. Can replace your normal polished rice in regular daily use. The rice is milled where the bran is fully intact. Brown rice is a whole grain rice with the inedible outer hull removed. This kind of rice sheds its outer hull or husk but the bran and germ layer remain on, constituting the brown or tan colour of rice.
