Thermal Overload Relay Unit Type LK1 is a three pole Bimetallic unit housed in a Bakelite enclosure. It is individually calibrated & tested on automatic machines to ensure foolproof protection to the motor from overload & resulting burnouts. The relay is ambient temperature compensated for operation between 5degC to 55degC. Whenever the load current exceeds the Set limit, power is instantaneously switched off and resets automatically after 9 seconds. If the over load still exists, this cycle is (3Sec ON & 6Sec OFF) repeated for every 9 sec. ACCL will enter into Lock Out mode after 5 ON & OFF cycles, if over load of the DG still persists.
