Colourtech Pigments are available in several colors and are formulated to work with styrenated polyester resins. It is mainly used in the manufacture of flat sheets, corrugated sheets, polyester castings, and for stained glass work.

Colourtech Epoxy Pigments are stable dispersions of dry organic/ inorganic pigment powders in a saturated polymeric plasticizer. They are used for coloring epoxy resins/hardner systems for all epoxy based applications. Epoxies are known for their excellent adhesion, heat resistance, chemical resistance, excellent mechanical properties, and very good electrical insulating properties. Properties of the pigment The base pigments are selected based on properties such as: Light Fastness Heat Resistance U.V. Resistance Outdoor durability Chemical Resistance Electrical Properties Coverage Properties Stability Uniform dispersion Pigment usage Colourtech Epoxy Pigments can be used at 5-10% based on the weight of the resin. Small quantities of pigments can be mixed easily by hand stirring. However for large quantities of pigments, power mixing is essential. As a general rule the epoxy resin should be added to the pigment, with simultaneous stirring. Note that the hardener should be added to the pigmented epoxy at the actual time of use, according to the instructions of the epoxy resin system manufacturer.
