Train Warning System
The Centralized control system shall be programmable so that in case Audio visual indication and bell/hooter does not stop after train has passed over the train wheel sensor at the exit side of gate then it shall sense the farthest exit train wheel sensor located at 2 KM away from gate and in such event it shall stop the bell and visual indication of approaching train as soon as the exit train has touched the farthest train wheel sensor. In case trains following on after another and second train passes the first train wheel sensor before the first train clears the gate, then also in such circumstances the approaching train indication and bell shall continuously ring till all the trains approached the gate have cleared it. Complies with RDSO/SPN/179/2015 Ver 1.0 and CENELEC standards

The SSDAC is a safety critical system for ensuring utmost safety to the passengers, goods and saving of national property. This system shall prevent allowing of a train in an occupied track section. This is achieved through vital relay contacts, which is actuated by the SSDAC unit located at the entry and exit of the section by counting the train wheels (axles). This section of the track shall be declared clear only when the wheel count recorded by the unit at the exit section matches with that of the entry section. The main advantage of SSDAC is that it counts the wheels from the first wheel of the train to the rear wheel of the last carriage, depending upon the direction of the train. DAC is a fail-safe 2oo2 16 bit high end micro controller based axle counting system for section proving in Railways. system can be configured to various versions using fool-proof method thus prevents wrong configuration at site, ensures highest degree of safety. Operating mode like preparatory, clear and occupied, configuration status, wheel counts and error messages are constantly displayed on the system TFT LCD status panel and interactive Reset Panel. Magnetic sensors detects the axle counts and direction of train movements that is transmitted to the other end of the system to verify and clear the block. Wheel sensed at one DP will cleared at any DP. The section status can be fed directly to further controlling systems through vital relay contacts. Each section has two or three detection points based on configurations. System unit is housed near the track with its DP placed at a variable distance of 15 Mts. Reliable communication between systems with a cable loss of 30dB using V.23 FSK modem at 1200bps, assured by CRC check with redundant messages. Fixed pair communication along with interlocked addressing between units ensures fail-safety. Built-in event logger logs normal and error data that can be downloaded on to a PC using RS232 serial port. Additional FSK modem available in event logger card connected to interactive Rest panel at station. User-friendly GUI aids to print reports. DAC works on 24 VDC power supply, integrated with lightening surge protectors. Stable operation at adverse environmental conditions from –10°C to 70°C. Reliable train detection by sensors exposed to water clogging due to heavy rains.
