Safety clutches are used as safety devices to protect large components from overload in machine tools. Safety Clutches are designed to be used as safety devices and have proven successful in machine tool and other industries in eliminating torque peaks. They protect gears, shafts, and other machine elements against over load and breakage. The actuation pressure is produced by multiple springs, and the clutches are adjustable within certain limits to meet variations in required drive or slipping torque. Safety clutches are tailor made suitable to customer requirements. Clutches are supplied with either dry or wet running.

Mechanical Clutches are used in most engineering sectors such as machine tools, marine engineering, earth moving equipments and construction machinery depending on the requirements. The clutches are available for wet and dry running. Types: Multi plate single acting clutches with standard sleeve flange, shoulder, cup or hub housing.   Multi plate double acting clutches with standard sleeve flange, shoulder, cup or hub housing.

These holding electromagnets are D C operated units, which when electric current passes in to the device, generate an electromagnetic field that can be employed for the purpose of holding or manipulating ferrous material.

The toothed clutches are recommended for small dimensions, high torques, short operating times, accurate switching.. High permissible speeds. It can be run in both wet and dry environments. These maintenance free clutches are to be engaged at rest or at very low speeds and are having no idling torques. Our positive drive toothed clutches are extensively used in Textile Machineries, Winches etc. 

Multidisc clutches/brakes are known for their smooth acceleration... high operating performance. They are surrounded by magnetic field. These type of clutches requires no maintenance... particularly suitable for wet applications. The special feature of all our multi disc clutches/brakes are that the outer periphery of the outer plates are provided with finger springs which help in faster disengagement... minimal residual torque. These Clutches / Brakes are being extensively used by original equipments machine tool manufacturers, SPM Builders, Printing and packaging industries, textile industries etc.

The Braking of high flywheel inertia is possible by the brakes with large heat capacity and high heat dissipation. The Electromagnetic Fail Safe Brakes are designed to interrupt the torque transmission in the event of power failure. The Braking torque is applied by spring force when power supply to the coil is interrupted.These brakes meet the requirements in machine tools,winches,conveyors etc, where for safety reasons, instant and reliable braking is required. The braking torque is produced by multiple coil springs acting on the plates and released by the magnet coil.
