Our paper band filters are universally deployable felt filter units for the separation of hard substances from aqueous mediums. This System consists of two circular disc wheels duly mounted on central pipe connecting to hollow shaft. This keeps rolling on honey comb belt on the disc axis. Filter media is allowed to pass between disc and the honey comb belt with no relative motion. So perfect sealing is achieved for zero leakage and efficient Filtration. The dirty coolant is allowed to enter through the centre hollow shaft having multiple pouring slots inside for uniform distribution over the filtration bed. Good hydrostatic head results in building up of dirt Layer Cake with itself enhance the filtration efficiency. As soon as the dirty coolant increase it touches the sensor level, the level sensor signals geared motor to drive the Honey Comb Belt Allowing the new media to pass gradually inside for fresh filtration and at the same time to remove the used media along with the dirt cake. Paper Filter (Paper Band Filter) can filter contaminant by filter media. Filter media moves automatically when the contaminants accumulates and clog filter media. Clean filter media is replaced and the soiled filter media is moved to a sludge box. Filter both ferrous and non-ferrous contaminants. Filtration accurancy depends on filter media, choosing from 50, 30, or 15 micron. Paper Filter is not suitable for heavy duty because it will consume to much filter media. A non woven ( paper ) fabric band is used as the filter media for the separation of the chips from the coolant oil that is made to fall over it. The filter paper is stored as a roll on the unit and is pulled out by an endless chain belt on top of which the paper rests, after use of the front portion. This filter is extensively used on grinding honing machines for filtering cast iron aluminium fine steel particles from coolant, where coolant filtration is critical. Filtration levels of 5 to 40 microns are possible. There is no cleaning of filter needed except change of filter paper roll after a long roll of paper ends. When the paper roll ends, an optional “paper end” signal can be provided to fix a new roll.
