product design/ development/ engineering gathering project specifications for new product ideas and modifying /upgrading existing designs. Oversee design plan, benchmarking, ideation, form analysis, styling, class-a surface diagnosis, aesthetic tweaking, b-siding, cad modeling, cad rendering, 3d animation, evaluation of alternatives, detail design, dfmea, cae, virtual prototyping, physical beta proto(also stl/rapid/foam, clay mock up), process planning, vendor development (local & abroad), dfm/dfa, tandardization, documentation, testing, pilot lot co-ordination, cross functional/virtual teaming, vendor sourcing eliminating redundant / obsolete processes / unnecessary overheads involved in the design and working towards value-addition. Managing the overall operations for the initiation of new product concepts/ideas, improvement in the existing products based on market trends and requirements.
coordinating the entire product development cycle including requirement analysis, finalizing specifications, designing, and prototype development and testing activities. Providing sound technical inputs and engineering support to the team from conception to completion stage of the product. Development of manufacturing equipment/ process specifications, vendor finalization, trial runs & pilot run capabilities & knowledge base
engineering application of metals, polymers, composites, adhesives, production technology/ experimental methods/ uantitative approach, human engineering (ergonomics), form-function aspects, at complete ease with mechanical engineering & electrical integration.
