Coming from an agricultural background, they founded Sri Guru Raghavendra Rice Mill in 1976 in Siruguppa, (‘’Land of Paddy’’) Karnataka, and later relocated to a new site as Sri Gururaja Rice Industries in 2002, with more advanced technology.
