GRE Cast Iron T-Slotted Floor Plates are used in heavy engineering industries as rigid bases for layout, marking, inspection, assembly work, large fixtures, special tooling and production set ups, as also for mounting jobs for precision welding or for carrying out machining operations like drilling, boring etc. and also as test beds for mounting engines, large machines, transmission or other industrial equipment. Individual plates are manufactured to standards laid out as per IS 10602 with required squareness and with 90 deg. Face matching on all. Squareness and 90 deg face matching is ensured by CI pads provided on all sides of the casting and machined and hand scraped to achieve squareness that when two plates are matched and bolted you obtain top side flatness comparatively closer and with hand scrping done the flatness will be matched.
