Manufactured Sand, most commonly M-Sand, could be termed as rock crushed to grain size distribution. In order to arrive at the grain size distribution, the coarser stone aggregates are crushed in a special rock crusher and the crushed material is washed to remove fines. The crushed sand is of cubical nature with grounded edges, washed and graded to as a construction material. The size of manufactured sand is less than 4.75 mm. Manufactured Sand is crushed in high weight programmed machine with controlled crude material feed. Manufactured Sand is ecologically agreeable and has solid restricting force when contrast with typical sand materials.

Manufactured Sand as fine aggregates for Concrete & Mortars All M Sand supplied by Tavara shall consist of naturally occurring stones, gravel and sand or a combination therof. We ensure that the product provided will stand to true quality, clear and free from veins and adherent coatings. Strength and durability >100% water washed >Aggregates shall not contain any harmful material, such as pyrites, coal, lignite, mica, shale or similar laminated material in any given quantity as to affect the strength of durability of the concrete. Manufactured Sand as fine aggregates in Concrete (grades of M20, M30) and Cement mortars (ratio 1:4 and 1:6). Tests were conducted to study fresh and hardened properties of the Concrete and Mortars made with river and Manufactured Sand. Following are the Results that Concluded the Test Grading limits of Manufactured Sand fell within the grading Zone-II of fine aggregates as specified in IS 383. The Shape of the Manufactured Sand particles resembled the shape of river sand particles. Bulk density and specific gravity of Manufactured Sand were comparable to those of river sand.

Manufactured Sand for Block Work This standard of sand covers the requirements of naturally occurring sands, crushed stone sands and crushed gravel sands used in mortars for construction of masonry works. Sand is crushed into fine aggregates produced from a source material and designed for use in concrete or other specific products. Only source materials with suitable strength, durability and shape characteristics are used. Production generally involves crushing, screening and washing.
