Furnaces generally have coils constructed from heavy copper tubing. Furance Transformers are special & sophisticated Transformers designed and tuned to the inverter circuit which applies a medium frequency (generally 500 Hz or 1000 Hz) voltage to the Induction coil. The charge ( Load) is heated by eddy currents induced by magnetic fields of the induction coils. Since the quality, volume and content of the charge is not always uniform the design has to be that much more robust and flexible. Medium frequency is necessary to enhance the rate of heat generation. The inverter circuit requires a D.C. Voltage for its operation, which is obtained by converting available three phase A.C.Voltage. our units have been serving customers well in STEEL PLANTS all over the world. Thermal circuit-adequate cooling ducts are provided radially and axially for the smooth flow of oil internally radiators cooling banks are provided for natural cooling ONAN and additional banks for ONAF cooling High current transformers are provided with OFW coolings.
