Considered as one of the largest JV between India and China, Xindia Steels Ltd has set a significant milestone in the growing relationship between the two countries. Xindia Steels Limited has recently commissioned a 0.8 mtpa Iron Ore Pelletisation facility in Koppal District, adjacent to Hospet, in Karnataka, at a total cost of slightly over Rs.250 Crores.
Close on the heels of the 1st Phase, Xindia (pronounced "Schindia"), has ambitious plans to go up the value chain in Steel and put up an integrated Iron and Steel complex in phases at the same location. The project construction work for the 2nd phase is to be taken up shortly.
