Ferro Manganese is an alloy that is used as a deoxidizer for steel. This alloy contains a high content of manganese. Ferro Manganese is basically a manganese and iron alloy. Ferro manganese is primarily used to combat the harmful effects of sulphur. It also functions as a deoxidizer and combines with sulfur in order to enhance the hot-working properties of the substance. It imparts metallurgical properties such as enhanced strength, resilience and durability.   Ferro Manganese of various grades are used in the manufacture of welding electrodes and special forms of stick electrodes as well.
