Precautions In high concentration, cedarwood oil may irritate the skin and it should be avoided in pregnancy. Therapeutic properties The therapeutic properties of cedarwood oil are antiseborrhoeic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, tonic, astringent, diuretic, emmenagogue, expectorant, insecticide, sedative and fungicide.
