The JV was formed with an objective to develop a mutually beneficial assembly capability within India. AAIPL incepted in Nov-2012 whereas the Operations started in 2013 and the first assemblies shipped out in 2014. AAIPL plant has a built-up area of 25,500 square feet with plans to increase capacity to 60,000 square feet in the future. AAIPL mainly offers Build-to-Print (BTP) manufacturing services for Commercial, Defense and Space Programs. AAIPL currently manufactures aerostructure assemblies of size up to 4 meter X 2 meter, weighing up to 150 kilograms.
