However, the natural dyes used, to have an extent, been replaced by chemical formulations, though interestingly the traditional process of mordanting and resist remains the same as do the the dyeing stages and methodology. Bagru prints are used mostly for ghagras (skirts), odhnis (scarves), pagris (turbans), some of the fabulous bed covers and other materials.
