The locking dogs on the RPOB lock into the profileof the RPB Nipple. When pressure is applied from below, the lockingdogs will take the load caused by hydraulics. When pressure is appliedfrom above, either the no-go will take the load, or in the case of a RPOBwithout a no-go, the locking dogs will take the load. Because of this, thehydraulic forces that are placed upon the setting equipment duringcementing operations are significantly reduced.
