These sliding sleeves provide a means of communication in between the tubing and annulus which could be opened and closed as per necessity. It has internal honed seal bores located in top and bottom housing for placement of flow control devices. The internal sleeve is shifted to open or close by using ‘BO’ shifting tool. ‘CMD’ Sliding Sleeve is down-shift to open while ‘CMU’ is being shifted up for opening of the ports. ‘CMD’ sliding sleeve can be converted to ‘CMU’ type or vice-versa by changing the upper and lower subs.
