Rice cooking changes accordingly from batch and variety. Getting consistently good results in cooking rice is easy. For best results soak rise in water for about 20-30 minutes at room temprature. Add. 1Tbp of edible oil or pinch of salt if desired. GENTLE BOIL: In a saucepan, add 1cup of rice to 6 cups of water to boil. Reduce heat and boil gently. Stir occasionally and cooked till your achieve the rice firemness that you prefer. Drain well and fluff with a fork and serve hot. COVERED PAN: Measure 1 cup of rice to 2 cups of water and put into a heavy saucepan. Reduce heat to medium and left it boil. Cover the pan with light fitting and simmer for 12-15minutes. Remove from heat and left it stand for 5-8minutes. MICROWAVE: Place 1 cup of rice and 2 cups of water in a microwave container. Cook o medium high for 15 minutes.
