Grade Aluminium Rod is drawn into the required Diameter on Slip Type Wire Drawing Machine and it undergoes tests like Breaking Load, Resistance, Diameter Surface Finish, Wrapping Test etc. STRANDING OPERATION In case of Small Conductors i.e Conductors not having more than seven strands, center wire of Aluminium Wire will be stranded with six Aluminium wire around the center wire in Tubular Machine. In case of Multi Layer Conductor, seven Aluminium Wire are stranded in Tubular Machine and the same stranded wire is again stranded with Aluminium wire in Multi Strand Machine in the required Wooden Drum. Packing & stencling is done as per IS-398 Part – 1. QUALITY ASSURANCE PLANM The Conductor is manufactured in the unit having one set of Wire Drawing Machine, 7 Wire and 12 + 7 Wire stranding Machine in Single Operation. The unit has ISI License, maintains a Testing Labarotary as per requirement of B.I.S. All the Technical Standards of IS-398 Part – 1/ Supplier’s specification are maintained.
