Gir Cow Ghee Benefits: Health Benefits of Gir Cow Ghee : Gir Cow Ghee slows down the aging process. Gir Cow Ghee has vitamin A2, E, and D with Omega3 properties Presence of A2 vitamin in Gir Cow Ghee make it capable of treating broken bones. Gir Cow Ghee cures insomnia, best for joint massage and most importantly it is good for those who are prone to obesity. Gir Cow Ghee decreases bad cholesterol and facilitates excellent blood circulation. It is used in treating ulcers, constipation and the promotion of healthy eyes and skin and can be used for the treatment of burns and blisters. This ghee contains conjugated linolenic acid (CLA) which is helpful in losing weight, especially belly fat, and has been known to slow the progress of cancer and heart disease. Gir Cow Ghee melts at 37°C and our body temperature is 37.2°C, which is why it gets totally absorbed in the body while commercial ghee melts at approx. 39°C or above which increases BP, diabetes, cholesterol and other diseases. Why not Buffalo ghee or Jersey ghee? 1) SPIRITUAL REASON: General tendency of Buffalo or Jersey cow is Tamasik in nature. Milk procured from them too carry their subtle nature. Tamasik tendency cannot cure any sickness. It is devoid of Prana shakti. Buffalo is exception in some cases as in few ayurvedic texts buffalo milk is prescribed as medicine but not buffalo ghee. 2) PHYSIOLOGICAL REASON: Protein in Jersey milk is A1. It is now well-established fact that A1 milk is not good to consume for humans. Besides, Jersey cow gives amaple amount of milk so nutritional density in milk is lower than Desi Cow breed (and so prana shakti is also divided). Buffalo milk’s fat is not digestible i.e. long chain fatty acids. So ghee is difficult to digest. Person with Pitta tendency also feel hard to digest. In sickness, digestion power is at lowest level. Desi Gows hump helps to convert Prana shakti from the Sun and instill it in her mutra, gobar, milk. One of the fundamental reason of quick healing is : Prana shakti. Buffalo and Jersey lacks this. So devoid of Prana shakti. More potent prana shakti attracts more pro-biotics to colonized in old ghee. When you take them as medicine, it can heal the cell-level metabolism as well as organ-level metabolism.

We make sure that each cow is pure breed and not the mixed or cross breed. The cows at our farm goes to the nearest forest for free grazing. We grow grass at our farm only which is completely organic-no urea and pesticides. The grass fed cows produce milk which contains significantly higher beneficial fatty acids, antioxidants and vitamins. The researches have shown that the cows undergo immense stress when the milking machine is attached the their teats. This stress results stress hormones in the milk. We believe in the traditional milking method where we first feed the calf and then the udder is cleaned properly. During the entire milking process the calf stands near to the cow being lovingly licked by the mother cow. The relaxing meditational music is played during the milking process. Music creates the harmony and helps cow to feel relaxed and stress free while milking. Processing and packaging : At our farm we mainly use the earthen pots from collecting and boiling milk to set curd and to collect butter so that the milk doesn’t comes in touch of any metal. After collecting the milk in earthen pot we directly pour it in glass bottles and deliver fresh milk at our customers doorstep within two hours of milking.
