Disk Check Valves must be fitted in accordance with the direction of flow arrow indicating correct fluid flow direction. The AIV model Butterfly dampers, offered by Amco Industrial Valves, India are essentially seatless Butterfly valves intended for low pressure gas lines and air lines. The lightweight construction with the narrow wafer body enables easy fitment of these valves in ducts, manifolds and exhaust lines without additional support or strengthening of pipe lines. These valves are primarily intended for low – pressure large volume gas / air flow control applications. The absence of seat substantially reduces the valve operating torque requirements and makes the valve very effective for flow control / regulation duties. This is an ideal choice for furnace air flow and combustion control applications. Even though the body is designed for a maximum pressure of 2.5 bar the maximum shut off pressure is limited to 0.5 bar only .The disc flap is held in position by a stub shaft with an axial locking arrangement provided on the top shaft. The top shaft sealing is through stuffing box type gland sealing arrangement, which is field adjustable.

CARBON STEEL & STAINLESS STEEL BALL VALVES     “AMCO” Ball Valves are Manufactured with Full Port/Regular Port constructions. Where the application requires minimal pressure drop, the user is advised to opt for Full port construction. When a Ball Valve is chosen to replace a Gate Valve, the obvious choice is a Full Port Ball Valve. But when pressure drops are acceptable or if regulating valves such as globe valves are replaced on the line with Ball valves, Regular Port Design would be quite adequate. Full port and Regular Port Ball valves, are identical to each other with regards to the dimensions.

This general purpose soft seated Butterfly valve has a fully rubber lined single piece body with centric disc construction and is available in wafer type body pattern. The body liner which also functions as the soft seat, comes in either a replaceable version or an integrally molded (bonded) version and offers 100% bi-directional sealing against vacuum to rated pressure of PN 10 or PN 16.

  The Fully Encapsulated Trim Seal Butterfly valve design completely isolates body from the flowing media, thus eliminating the use of expensive body materials. Extended neck allows for adequate clearance of piping insulation and provide room for access to actuator mounting studs. Self adjusting shaft seal of Trim Seal Butterfly valve is incorporated to prevent ingress of foreign material with the body shaft bore. The . double ‘U’ cup design allows positive sealing in both directions and acts as a secondary shaft seal in emergency situations, while the Primary seal which is pre-loaded self compensating, synergistic primary seal, completely isolates the shaft from the flowing media and provides positive sealing at all angles of opening.
