The Chennai works was established in 1957 with technical collaboration from Dominit Werke of West Germany. The unit is having state of art technology with infrastructure to manufacture & carrying out testing up to 50MVA 220KV Class Transformer. We have already executed different rating of Transformers up to 50MVA 132KV Class to more or less all the utilities & major industries throughout the country including PGCIL, NTPC, etc. as per list of execution attached.
